We want to acknowledge that the gender selection options on our website were stuck in the binary gender construct for too long. We have now expanded our gender selection options to include 8 total options for players:
Man
Woman
Trans Man
Trans Woman
Nonbinary
Genderqueer
Other
Prefer not to say
We also acknowledge that these options only represent a small portion of gender identities that exist, and that as a spectrum there is no limit to the possible number of gender identities. We will continue to make updates and changes to these options as the conversation around gender in sports evolves.
